River Rising

Merry Christmas from Ebro and Bruce. We have a couple of die-hard volunteers on our site today, but most have family obligations elsewhere for the holidays. The Choctawhatchee has risen 2 feet at the Bruce-Ebro Hwy 20 bridge and 3.5 feet up at Caryville, and it's forecast to keep rising through the 28th. Areas we've been able to walk are now starting to require waders, and soon kayaks will be needed to navigate the lower bottoms. Just about all leaves have dropped (except for the semi-evergreen laurel oaks and water oaks), making for good visibility.
